GM Ride and Drive After Thoughts

While learning about all the amazing things GM is doing right now test driving their cars was so much fun. Lots of fun. Especially in Bumblebee.

Yes, Bumblebee. The yellow Camaro with black racing strips that plays Bumblebee in Transformers. It was awesome. [yes, they are going to sell a Bumble Bee Camaro too!]

Not just cause it was Bumblebee [although that did make it extra cool], but the way the Camaro drove was incredible. It had a beefy sounding engine and handled great. I love that it picked up quickly and could stop on a dime. The pedals weren’t super sensitive like some luxury cars but you could really use your foot to push the gas which I like. It was amazing.

I also drove the new GMC Terrain. The car is a great family car. I think my favorite part is that you can adjust the back row seats to be as close or as far away from you as possible. This is convenient when you have small ones still in car seats, making it easy to just reach around to give them a toy, pacifier, or just to do a quick check on them. As I mentioned yesterday the rear view mirror has a screen come up when you put the car in reverse. A little camera for you to see what you are about to drive into. I really like that idea cause it shows lower then what you can see. You can’t always see everything just from the back window. The car was comfortable, easy to drive, and gets 32 miles to the gallon! How sweet is that? I loved it!

Sadly I didn’t have time to test drive every car they had so I ran around asking people what they thought of the cars they test drove. Below are the after thoughts of a few people at the event. Heck you might even recognize them!

Awesome, Tara! You did a great job of capturing this on video... that was with your new Kodak video camera, right? It does take great videos. I had such a fun time meeting you and hanging with you as we discussed and drove fun cars!

Thanks for putting this up, Tara! I'm so bummed that I never did get in one of the Corvettes, but I totally loved the whole day. Glad we could hang out and race fast cars together!

And of course, totally invite you to check out my GM wrap up on SugarJones.tv

HUGS!

Great post, Tara. I don't think we had the opportunity to meet at the event, but I'm glad you had a great time. I'm also happy to hear you loved driving Bumblebee! Great video too.
